Please read these Terms carefully. They are a binding agreement between you and Called Out Games. By accessing or using the Service you accept them in full — every session, every mode, every question. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old to access or play Called Out (the “Game” or “Service”). You are solely responsible for knowing and complying with the laws that apply where you live and play. If you are not eligible, you must not use the Service.
Called Out is a social party game scored with points. Any additional stakes a group chooses to add (dares, forfeits, or anything else) are private, voluntary decisions made by each adult player. We never require, encourage, or reward any particular stake.
Every question and prompt in the Game is generated by artificial intelligence or submitted by players. No question is written, authored, reviewed for truth, or endorsed by us. Content may be inaccurate, absurd, offensive, or otherwise objectionable, and does not represent the views, opinions, or values of the creators. Nothing in the Game is advice of any kind — medical, legal, relationship, or otherwise — and you must not rely on it as such.
The Game contains mature themes, sexual references, dark humor, strong language and controversial opinions. Some modes — including the intensity labelled “Cancelled” — are deliberately boundary-pushing, are clearly labelled as such, and require explicit confirmation before they start. Content can be unexpected, offensive, or inappropriate. If that is not for you or your group, do not play those modes — or do not play at all.
You use the Service entirely at your own risk and voluntarily assume all risks arising from playing — social, emotional, reputational and physical, including any consequences of stakes your group chooses to add. We do not pre-screen, verify or guarantee any content. You are solely responsible for deciding what you are comfortable playing, for your own conduct, and for what happens in and around your group while playing.
The Game is meant to be played respectfully among consenting adults. Respect personal boundaries at all times. Any player may skip a question, pass, or leave the game at any moment, for any reason, without explanation. Never pressure anyone — to answer, to stay, or to take part in any stake. Do not use the Service to harass, threaten, humiliate or harm anyone, or for any unlawful purpose.
You are solely responsible for anything you submit — whether in-game (answers, votes, custom questions) or through our “Suggest questions” page. You confirm it is yours to share, that it does not identify or target any real, private person, and that it does not violate anyone's rights or any law. Suggested questions go to an internal review library; they are treated as non-confidential, and we may use, edit, adapt, publish, or ignore them at our sole discretion. For everything you submit, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable and transferable license to use it within or in connection with the Service, with no compensation, credit, or notice owed to you, and you waive any moral rights to the extent permitted by law. We may remove or refuse any content at any time, for any reason, without notice.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of objectionable content, and we may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of it at any time without notice.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the creators of Called Out Games shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages — including offense, emotional distress, personal disputes, injury, illness, property damage, or any consequences of stakes your group chooses to add — arising from or related to your use of the Service or any content displayed within it, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. To the same maximum extent, our total aggregate liability for all claims shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim (which, for a free service, is nothing). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions; in those places, these limits apply to the fullest extent the law allows.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the creators of Called Out Games from any claims, damages, liabilities and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, anything you submit, your group's conduct while playing, or your violation of these Terms or any law.
Keep every stake optional and legal, know your group's limits, and look after each other. Any player can stop at any time.
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time, for any reason, without notice. We may update these Terms at any time; continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
